Description of the Course

According to the new Law on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Institutions in Macedonia, PSOs are required to ensure that their digital services (web and mobile applications) are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This legislation aligns with the EU Web Accessibility Directive, reflecting Macedonia’s commitment to harmonizing with European Union accessibility standards. As the country continues working toward full compliance with EU laws, this will also include eventual alignment with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). The EAA will require private sector organizations offering digital products and services to the public to meet accessibility standards by June 2025.

As digital transformation accelerates across the public and private sectors, ensuring digital accessibility is no longer optional—it’s a strategic, legal, and ethical imperative. This 4-day course is specifically designed for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Service Organizations (PSOs) seeking to make their digital products and content accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.

Whether you’re managing a company website, offering digital public services, or delivering mobile and web applications, this course equips you with the essential knowledge to embed accessibility into your workflows and digital assets.
